Types of Data Processed

Browsing Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment. This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted after processing. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Data Provided Voluntarily by the User

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on the website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for specific on-demand services.

Cookies

For cookies, a text element is intended to be inserted into the hard disk of a computer only with authorization. Cookies have the function of streamlining web traffic analysis or indicating when a specific site is visited, allowing web applications to send information to individual users. No personal user data is acquired by the site. No use is made of cookies for the transmission of personal information, nor are persistent cookies of any kind used, or systems for tracking users. The use of session cookies is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing of the site. The session cookies used on the site prevent the use of other potentially prejudicial computer techniques for the confidentiality of user navigation and do not allow the acquisition of the user's personal identification data.

Optional Provision of Data

Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data to request the services offered by the data controller. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

Data Processing Methods and Data Retention Times

Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access. Data is stored for the time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes stated in this policy and will be deleted at the end of this period, unless the data must be retained for legal obligations or to assert a right in court.
